Does anyone know if there's currently a crashlitics equivalent for KMP projects? Currently, the expected/actual is a bit inconvenient.

What are you building? I assume since you're shipping fast, you could try Sentry.

At the moment the main targets are Android and desktop. Kotzılla looks really good but I'm allergic to koin which is probably required, maybe I'll actually check the sentry.

Since you may want to make your analytics testable/verifiable, you could use plain old dependency inversion and injection.

we use firebase crashalytics for android and ios using respective libraries

This is what I have been using (although just for iOS and Android) https://crashkios.touchlab.co/ As far as being testable and not liking expect/actual. What I do is create an interface in commonMain, then make each platforms implementation in their respective source set. If you’re using kotlin-inject/anvil or metro you just add a
@ContributesBinding
so that way each platform can have its own constructor without having to figure out how to wire it up.

While in the case of Android and iOS there are quite a lot of solutions, finding desktop solutions are quite difficult

You would just use regular crashlytics since desktop would be running on Kotlin JVM
