Hi all! I wanted to share a website I created using Kobweb (with a custom Ktor backend): https://klantenstop.be

It's a website designed to make it clear for belgian citizens which company/doctor/dentist/... is still accepting clients or not.
For a couple of years we have had a real issue of older doctors going into retirement and not many new doctors are taking their place.
So to make the search easier for patients, they can now find if any in their vicinity are still accepting them.
Also, people can register and fill in details themselves as well, hopefully a community of contributors will be able to keep it up-to-date. But we'll see how that goes! 😄

Thanks to the Kobweb team for creating this framework, it's really a blast to create a website using Kotlin!
And it also really helps that I can just use any html/javascript package and map it so it can be used within Kobweb as well! 🥳 🦜

It kills me to see that I missed this, I'm so sorry! I don't understand why, but Slack seems to be the most likely app that just stops sending me notifications. I also go to check it manually sometimes and occasionally my own #C04RTD72RQ8 channel isn't even in the lefthand side.....

Finally, we appreciate your appreciation! But also, I mean, Kobweb is nothing without the community doing really cool projects with it. So truly, thank you. It warms my heart to see Kobweb used for good in this manner.
