Hi everyone, I recently got access to this KotlinLang Slack and wanted to share something I have been building: AppLyft. AppLyft is an effort to generate a full-stack Kotlin starter app from a structured blueprint, mainly focused on Kotlin Multiplatform mobile apps with native mobile structure and a Kotlin backend. The idea is not to replace developers or generate a complete production app magically. The goal is to give developers a clean starter ZIP with: • Kotlin Multiplatform mobile project structure • Ktor backend • shared models • Docker-ready backend setup • generated docs and next-step prompts Right now, v0 is intentionally narrow and supports one pattern: Save a core entity with optional AI enrichment Example use cases: note saver, lead capture app, product idea logger, or any simple app where the mobile client saves structured data and the backend optionally enriches it. I am especially trying to improve the KMP/native mobile starter structure and would love feedback from Kotlin Multiplatform developers. Site: https://applyft.in Would appreciate any thoughts, criticism, or suggestions on what a useful KMP starter generator should include.

To be honest I rather stick to the free templates I can generate with https://kmp.jetbrains.com

@Stefan Oltmann Fair point. The official KMP starter is the right default for many cases. AppLyft is more of an opinionated full-stack starter experiment around KMP mobile + Ktor backend + shared models for one specific app flow, not a replacement for the official starter. Thanks for the feedback — I should make that distinction clearer.
