i want to help understand why kotlin cannot run standalone like how js run in node js standalone,
my point is, why kotlin cannot match Rust Performance and why it cannot live outside jvm
kmp is able to generate (Assemble native) as new targget just like ios...

How is JS standalone? You need a VM…. Or did you think the Chrome V8 engine in Node wasnt a VM. And check the one billion row challenge where java is on par with Rust
