I'm building an open-source Android TV remote app (GitHub link below). The remote controls work correctly, but IME keyboard input fails on NVIDIA Shield TV and a few other Android TV devices. The keyboard opens on the phone, but text is never delivered to the TV. Is there a compatibility issue with Android TV IME APIs, or am I missing an implementation detail?
