How was I supposed to figure out that the `androidx.lifecycle.viewmodel.compose.viewModel` function is from

This specific GAV? The `androidx.lifecycle.viewmodel.compose` package overview says nothing about the androidx.lifecycle group and the lifecycle-viewmodel-compose artefact.

If you select a specific function, you can see in which artifact it exists.
For example, if you take the first function: https://developer.android.com/reference/kotlin/androidx/lifecycle/viewmodel/compose/viewModel.composable#viewModel(androidx.lifecycle.ViewModelStoreOwner,kotlin.String,kotlin.Function1)

@mgaetan89 Got it, thank you! This is kind of approaching Not Kotlin territory, but does Gradle have something like npm install that 1. adds the dependency to libs.versions.toml, 2. and implementation(/* ... */) to build.gradle.kts?

I know at some point the Intellij was working on autocompletes for common dependencies. I didn't really follow it because I'm stuck in my ways of doing it manually.

But my common thing is to add the dependency and then do then use the intention to move to version catalog.
