I have this quite often with Toolbox, on Fedora, where it starts very small. Would this be an issue in Toolbox or on Fedora/Gnome's side? I'm unsure as I don't remember seeing it with other software.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to report this kind of problem, although it seems to me that the app uses Compose Desktop, unless you're experiencing the same issue with your apps.

Yeah, not sure where to ask it either as it could also be an issue with Fedora/Gnome

Regarding your app, you're using a native menu ?

Compose Desktop uses AWT for this.

And AWT hasn't received any updates for at least 15 years.

I recommend you create your own menu with compose

Anyway, I find the native menu really awful on Linux and Windows. Only on Mac Os that the menu pairs with the top bar
