Subject: Interest in Kotlin Compiler Fuzzer (Kai) – Outside GSoC

Hi everyone,

I read a post about implementing a Kotlin Compiler Fuzzer — I'm Mohamed Atef, an ML compiler engineer from Egypt. I came across your project Kotlin Compiler Fuzzer (Kai) and found it very interesting.

I'd like to work on it outside of GSoC — ideally together, or with your guidance/mentoring until we have a solid tool. Looking forward to your reply (positive or negative), and I hope we can collaborate on this.


Skills & experience

Must-have

· Proficiency in Kotlin or another JVM-based language – I have solid Java experience (not perfect, but happy to learn Kotlin deeply).
· Technical English – I use English daily in my job.
· Basic understanding of compilers – I'm confident here. I work as an ML Compiler Engineer

Nice-to-have

· Fuzzing or program analysis – No fuzzing experience yet, but I have compiler static analysis experience (Dataflow analysis, SSA, Domination, DCE, Loop opts, etc.).
· Kotlin compiler/IDE plugins – None yet, but eager to learn.
· Greenfield dev tooling – Haven't built a tool from scratch, but I'm familiar with CMake, llvm-lit, clang-format, and regularly contribute to open source.

Hi mate! Thanks for your unwavering interest in this project! To reiterate once more, at the moment we do not have enough capacity for an external collaboration with this project, that's why we cannot proceed further at this time.
