Currently when using Material 3 there is no way to customize quite a few shapes, like the ones of button or navbaritem, on a theme level.
Until the issue is solved: Any ideas on a better workaround other than custom Button composables or explicitly passing a button shape on each usage?

Just factor that out into a separate MyButton function and then use only that in your code.
