Mid-Level Mobile / KMP Engineer.

Hi Everyone 👋.
My name is Daniel Iroka, and I am Mid-level Android developer with about 3 years of commercial experience specializing in Native Android and Kotlin Multiplatform. Over the past few years, I've focused on building cross-platform apps using KMP alongside the native APIs provided by Kotlin and Swift/Obj-C.

Throughout my career, I worked under a strict no-third-party-library policy, which pushed me to rely heavily on native Kotlin and iOS APIs/SDKs and gave me a strong understanding of platform fundamentals — from payment integrations like Paystack and Stripe, to real-time features like video calling with Agora.

I'm open to remote full-time, part-time or contract opportunities, whether working within an existing team or taking a lead role on a project.

What I bring :
• Native Android development (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVI)
• Kotlin Multiplatform with iOS interop (cinterop, Swift/Obj-C)
• Deep platform knowledge built without much reliance on third-party libraries
• Networking via REST APIs and Ktor for cross-platform solutions
• Native and cross-platform database solutions (Room + SQLDelight)
• Some experience building and architecting KMP libraries/SDKs
• Experience shipping apps end-to-end, including CI/CD automation and iOS distribution via TestFlight
