Last update to the compiler plugin template was 3 months ago, is that still the latest? Any recent changes in compiler plugin architecture that should be updated if someone wanted to start now? (eg around testing etc)

I've gotten a little behind updating it (it's currently on 2.4.0) but I don't think there are any major differences with 2.4.20. I'll try and push an update today.
