(Not sure if this is right channel or whether this belongs in the Ktor channel)
When creating a Ktor project using the Kotlin Toolchain build system in IntelliJ IDEA, there are (at least) two creation paths:
1. New Project > Kotlin > Build system: Kotlin > Template: 'Ktor server application'
2. New Project > Ktor (plugin) > Build system: Kotlin

The generated project structures differ:
• Option 2 includes a test/ folder and libs.versions.toml, while Option 1 generates neither.
• naming is different: main.kt vs Application.kt
• ..
Is this difference intentional, or is there a plan to align the two project generators?
(As the differences caused some confusion for me and my students I hope they will be aligned)

Yes, we're actively working on wizards and `kotlin init`/`kotlin new` right now. We started by aligning with the KMP wizard. Eventually we'll look into aligning with the Ktor wizard as well
