Hey folks, we are seeing kotlin native incremental compilation being really bad for parallel multiple worktrees and CI. We found out that the Kotlin native ic enabled when has zero ic cache and it will almost not being reused (CI case) it increase alot of our compilation time. We figure out at least in the kotlin version we are running 2.4.10 that is keep inside
build/
of the module if I recall or at
.kotlin
(I did this discover weeks ago and forgot to ask you folks here and forgot the right place it generates to). This is a know issue? There is any goal of storing this cache at maybe ~/.konan to be shared across worktrees? Any plan to support Gradle build cache (for remote build cache users).

Hi Gabriel. Incremental compilation is not meant to be used on CI (at the moment at least), because it's designed for other scenarios: for actively developing a project by doing a lot of small changes. Clean build is almost inevitably will be slower although we'll try to improve this in the future. > There is any goal of storing this cache at maybe ~/.konan to be shared across worktrees? Any plan to support Gradle build cache (for remote build cache users). Not at the moment (the incremental caches are local for the current build) but we'll consider it.
