# serialization

[sandwwraith]

Hey everyone! I have some news to share: I'm leaving JetBrains soon and therefore will be stepping down from maintaining kotlinx.serialization. I want to say thank you to all the members of this amazing community, and how grateful I am for you support, contributions, and discussions.

Hi Leonid, thank you for that initial commit in July 2017

and everything that grew 🌱 from then on. Thank you for evolving and maintaining that project for almost a decade. Wishing you the best for whatever comes next! kodee loving
