10/01/2026, 9:37 AM0.1.0 release includes, among other things:
• End-to-end encrypted messaging using X3DH + Double Ratchet
• Multi-device and prekey support
• TOFU identities, safety numbers, and manual verification
• Reliable delivery with application commit/discard and retry semantics
• Device authentication and multiple recovery mechanisms
• Encrypted client-side persistence and platform key providers
• In-memory and SQLDelight storage adapters
• Ktor client/server integration
• Extensive multiplatform, concurrency, migration, mutation, and security regression testing
This is still a 0.x release, so there is plenty more planned before 1.0: real client/server application samples, Ktor WebSocket support for active clients, additional platform key providers, more storage adapters such as Room and PostgreSQL/MongoDB, further operational tooling, and eventually additional privacy features.
