Hi folks! We’ve had a bunch of requests about how to make Compose scrolling work correctly with native iOS Navigation and Tab Bars. The answer back then was… well: “It’s a private API. We actually don’t know how UIScrollView interacts with container components.” Nothing has changed until now, except that we now know which private methods are used:
_scrollViewWillBeginDragging
and
_scrollViewDidEndDragging:
. So check out the NavigationOverscrollEffect - the class that does the magic, so you can just copy-paste it into your project and attach to the root scrollable. The PR also contains integration examples. Caution: this code is for demonstration purposes only.
_scrollViewWillBeginDragging
and
_scrollViewDidEndDragging:
are part of the private UIKit API, which may cause your application to be rejected during the App Store review process.

Nice, thank you! I would prefer to have it part of library.
