I'm looking into JS frameworks that integrate well with Kotlin and I've previously tried React but found it a massive pain to work with when dealing with forms; is there anything that you recommend that is typed for Kotlin (e.g. Formik) or am I better off looking into an alternative framework? My requirement is basically: must allow me to write HTML, so Compose is out.

Probably TanStack Form can help in your case.

thank you, I've heard from a work colleague that this is apparently quite neat due to being typesafe
the only thing that makes me scared is that tanstack was a victim of a supply chain attack, but oh well 😛

Also FormControl from
base-ui
can be used as example or as implementation

I see, so no types available out of the box, correct?

@Bernhard you may be interested in the Compose-HTML-like solutions like: • Kobweb • Kilua • Kinetica • Summon

btw: never seen Kinetica before, looks really impressive!

We're using raw compose-html with web-awesome as a component library to make it easier to get up and running with good web components. So far I'm very happy with the results. We're in kind of a weird situation because we have to embed inside of an angular project. Initially I was using react (the kotlin react bindings are very good) but putting react inside angular is harder than putting compose-html inside angular
