We've released <https://developer.android.com/jetpack/androidx/releases/wear-compose#1.8.0-alpha02|1.8.0-alpha02>, which includes further API updates and bug fixes for use with system status bar in the future. There is also a small change to the `PullToRefresh` API and a new overload on `Slider` to simplify configuring a slider for integer values on a range [1 .. steps]. Please see the release notes for more details.
