12/21/2020, 5:10 PMHey @tmg I was talking to the Jetbrains team. Looks like the problem may have been solved with JDK 14. Install the plugin choose runtime and use a JDK14 runtime and let me know if it solved the issue. It did for me on one of my machines, the one where it was painful but still usable. I'll try tomorrow on my other machine on which IntelliJ cannot be used with the two screens on.

12/21/2020, 5:11 PMThey are planning on switching the Runtime JDK to 14 in the future anyway, but I think we need to tell them that it indeed solve the issue.
