So in the new IntelliJ version JetBrains moved the commit message input to the right. It used to be on the bottom.

Is there any way to move it to the bottom?

Really starting to drive me crazy with these layout switcheroos. Just when I got used to this layout they have to change it again for NO REASON.

My commit message is one line, not an essay.

mine’s still at the bottom after the update, not sure how it works it out

I just found out this is because I moved the Commit pannel to the bottom

when it’s on the bottom the message input is on the right

I guess I will have to get used to the commit panel being a vertical thing :confused:

I’ve kind of got used to it replacing the project explorer while committing and then cmd-1 to switch back after the commit is done

isn’t that basically the old way before they moved it to the sidebar? It seems so from the nag bar at the top
