In IntelliJ when I exit presentation mode the font is stuck at the huge size. Does anyone know of a fix for that?

You can try shift shift -> reset font size

isn't that the bug that presentation mode is actually a composition of multiple modes, and it doesn't exit them all?
You ca go again into the view menu and uncheck the leftovers
