Playing with the new 2019.1 themes and I accidentally enabled the minimap, how do I turn it off? Can’t seem to find the right name for that window
n
Have you tried searching for minimap in the Find Action dialog (ctrl+shift+a)?
o
How does it look like? I can’t guess what is it
c
I did all that, @napperley, couldn’t find it. Ended up reverting back to 2018.3 😞
@orangy It’s the same feature as Sublime Text, gives you a zoomed out version of your text in the right margin. I no longer have it since I reverted, though. I find it completely useless, I’m surprised it’s on by default and it’s so hart to turn off (if possible at all)
o
hmm, I never saw it in IJ 🙂
c
Maybe you didn’t try a theme that has such a minimap
Ah actually here’s a screen shot, I realized I didn’t uninstall 2019.1

I’m still dead curious now to find out if this can be turned off. And if it can, why I couldn’t figure it out 🙂

if this is based on the CodeGlance plugin, then it should be possible to toggle it on/off with Ctrl+Shift+G…
o
So may be it is plugin, not IJ itself?
h
I'd think so, yes
