Hey guys, I hope someone here can help me. I’m having trouble with jenkins/ruby gems, it seems that there are 2 ruby gem environments on my Jenkins build machine and when I run
gem env
on the machine’s command prompt I get the correct version with all the gems I’ve installed, but when I run it through the node’s
Script Console
I get a different version, which is located in the
Library
folder and has older and fewer gems. My question is how do I make Jenkins use the version of ruby I installed which has all the gems I need?

Did you perhaps mean to ask that on the ruby slack?

We already went through this in #C0B8RC352 😅
I asked him to move to #C09222272 since he needed help and this is about the only channel that could fit “general programming” as a topic
that said, if you have a particular ruby slack team in mind @karelpeeters that might not be a bad place to ask instead

I though there was one, I must have confused it with Rust. All these programming languages! There's https://www.rubyonrails.link/ though, and a populated IRC channel #ruby on freenode IRC.
