11/15/2018, 10:30 PMYeah, anecdotally I have seen a lot of college kids coming to my workplace with exposure to only Python, especially here in Texas. I've also noticed there is rarely any programming skills... just knowledge on how to use libraries. That still requires knowledge especially on the data science front, but I find it limits ones ability to execute specific problem solves.
