06/09/2018, 7:57 AMLinux Mint. Kernel 3.16 is a stable version that is supported by the proprietary Nvidia Linux driver, 4.x might be too new to be supported by the driver.

06/09/2018, 8:08 AMI use mint 18.3 with recommended kernel v 4.10.0-38 and proprietary Nvidia driver, it works fine

06/09/2018, 8:21 AMJust updated the Linux Kernel in Mint 17.3 to v4.4.0-98 (latest stable version available for Linux Mint 17). Nvidia driver is working fine so far simple smile. Did a google search and didn't find any major stability issues with Docker and Linux Kernel 4.4.0. No news is good news.
