The original title of https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48317709/why-is-kotlins-map-filter-reduce-slower-than-javas-stream-operations-on-large "Why is Kotlin so slow in comparison to Java" really makes me angry. Such a lazy approach to formulating a question. And not to speak of the "benchmark" itself.

You shouldn’t be angry at a question posted in a website that is also targeted at audiences with low knowledge level. Instead you should clarify to them why such an assumption is wrong.
