I'm glad it's not only me who found the Scala community less than supportive especially to newbies.
Far too much RTFM rather than providing reasonable replies to questions especially when the manual appears to have been written for &amp; by developers with a PhD in maths &amp; set theory.

It's one of the reasons I decided to move away from Scala, that &amp; the fact I couldn't actually grok any of my own code (never mind anyone elses) if I hadn't seen it for 6 months :slightly_smiling_face:
