I just did extensive research on lappys and ordered a new one yesterday. I'm using new MBP at work and absolutely hate it. Final three for my research were Dell XPS , Lenovo T470s & Lenovo X1 Carbon

you can pimp that out to 16GB

it's soldered on like MBP so no upgrades but 16 should last for few months at least

i liked the touchpad on the razer blade when i tried it out in a microsoft store. but i have a feeling the battery life wouldn't really cut it for a dev machine, maybe too much would be wasted on the over-pimped GPU
