I wonder how many of the top50 languages from TIOBE index (regardless how good or bad it is) can you explain to someone? Like what is the language for, what are basic principles, etc.

06/03/2017, 7:15 PMorangy: the top 20 I’ve used all but Ruby, Go and Scratch, From 20-50 I’ve only used Bash, Dart and Kotlin. Don’t know why Awk is in there. There’s a lot of languages in there I’ve never heard of before like Q, Ladder Logic, Logo, ABAP, SAS, etc
