jython is when you compile python down to jvm byte code so it would be straight python code

well sure the runtime perf of a compiled language aught to beat out interpreted. But why write python when you could write java, and why write java when you could write K

Heck yes it is. I run osx on an Asus based build. I just love giving dynamic languages crap.
