@oshai To be fair 7 people moved in the opposite direction, Scala -> Kotlin. I've been 'forced' to temporarily move to Scala just because that what the client requires & what pays the bills. Would love to see more Kotlin jobs as it just feels more productive. (BTW interesting/scary how many devs switched from Java -> php !!)

Java to PHP? I can only imagine that if they were trying to escape Spring. Still doesn’t sound great.

PHP isn’t that bad. PHP has made lots of progress over the last 5 years.
