i’m not sure this is kotlin related
your question sounds like
“i’m working in a poop company”
in that case, my advice is always the same
leave as soon as you can 🙂

You should never give up immediately, but if you are stuck with a task you should let your team know, ask for help 🤷♂️

It probably depends what is stopping them doing their task, and what the culture they are working in is like. But some things that come to mind:
• break it down into smaller problems you can tackle
• research online for people who solved a similar problem and figure out why their approach works
• get a clear idea of requirements then get a group of colleagues together to talk about possible solutions
• Familiarise yourself with a tool that can solve the problem for you - try building a simple version of what you want it to do as a proof of concept
• feed back to stakeholders who asked for the work to be done to let them know it might take a while so they can plan around it/deprioritise if necessary
But yeah, it's not really a Kotlin question, a more general-purpose forum like Quora might be more appropriate!

@mserralta, @Jonathan Mew thanks for replying. Yes, I know that it's not Kotlin question. But there is no another channel for putting this question in Kotlin Lang group 🙂

there’s no channel because it’s not the place
as @Jonathan Mew proposed it, quora is probably the best place to ask
