Wild guess after Googling: your "apply plugin" directive for Kotlin is in the wrong place relative to (I'm guessing) the android plugin, like here: <https://github.com/SgtSilvio/android-retrofix/issues/7#issuecomment-641002298>. Try moving it above/below, see if that helps.

<@UB3CEA8QG> Thank for reply. But it’s not my problem. Actually, my project is working well in Kotlin 1.3.7. I have just update to 1.4.10 yesterday then get the error.

If the directive move described above is not an issue, I don't have any ideas. Can you please share some project for investigation, where the bug is reproducible?

It’s a big project source code so I’will make a sample for reproduce this problem. I’ll send you github link then…
