09/16/2020, 11:11 PMThe CoC for this slack clearly says to avoid discriminatory behavior, and while I’m sure most people don’t intend to be discriminatory, terms like “guy” and “dude” can often be interpreted to be somewhat exclusive of people who don’t identify as male. I wish there were a lighter-weight way to give this nudge though, since I think a lot of people just don’t think about it. It’s just a simple way to make everyone feel more welcome!
