Just in case you don't know. You can browse channels. It's not obvious in the UI. If you click the `+` beside Channels on the left, there are 2 options. One is `browse` (and the other is create).

If I didn't know it was there...

Yea so what happened was I joined this slack a long time ago and when I rejoined I wasn't in any channels including general so Channels wasn't showing up. Weird slack bug or intended. Anyway after joining Multiplatform I can now see Channels section again.
