Hey everyone, I’m working on Alpas, a Kotlin-based web framework that is open source. I’d like to get help to reduce infrastructure costs and I can apply for assistance with DO if I have at least 100 stars on the GitHub repo. Would you be so kind as to give me an assist and star the repo? We are just 11 stars away and your support would be very appreciated! Thanks in advance! https://github.com/alpas/alpas

Thanks so much everyone! We made it past 100 stars and now we can apply for some assistance to reduce some costs, which lets us focus more on improving Alpas. 🙏

Hey, just wanted to say the fw looks great. Keep up the good work!
Also, what would you say the benefits are compared to Ktor? To me it seems simpler to understand, would you say there are any other benefits?

Yes, we are trying to keep it simple and straightforward. One of the big things is that it comes packaged with more modules to get you going - front-end libraries, database, authentication, queuing, etc. Of course, you can easily replace anything that is packaged with a library of you choosing. We also have other libraries in the Alpas family you can use for things like social authentication, document upload, etc. It’s all a work in progress but we are excited to keep this all going and get closer to a real v 1.0!
