I don't understand your question. I was just suggesting you ask in #scripting as that is likely where you'll find people most in the know about it. It's not like the existence of the channel precludes the use of such APIs elsewhere...

Ah, no worries. I guess that is also the standard way of getting people to move to #random as well, so I probably should have made it more clear it was a suggestion.
