Kotlin is more mature, better supported, easier to hire for and has more libraries meaning that development time is smaller

can you back this up somehow? I’ve developed Dart for like 2 years and am just getting into Kotlin. Though I’ve noticed some nice things in Kotlin for sure I haven’t felt a sense of one language being clearly superior over the other.

better supported? community engagement would be my metric there, as well as total packages available (all of maven vs however much is available for dart)
more mature (kotlin on jvm for android vs flutter) seems uncontroversial though it may change in the future
more libraries seems fair given that kotlin can consume all of the java libs as well as it's own

hmm, true, jvm & java are a big plus in terms of library availability for sure.
community engagement though, not so sure. i feel like this can fluctuate quite a lot depending on the flavour of the day and i’ve never felt like i couldn’t find anyone to help me while using dart

that's fair. I'm probably going off where I am a little (sydney) but I've never met a Dart dev here
