@Ayden I think you can develop fundamentals in Kolin. Don't feel discouraged 🙂
Though Effective Java is a great read!!

*along moving to Kotlin (hehe)

@Can Orhan my colleague told me maybe I am too greedy. I should solid my java fundamental before I hop into The world of Kotlin.
p
Meh, it's a bit like saying, you should really get good with Latin before you start learning Spanish

c
Yeah. I suppose it depend on if anyone is speaking Latin where you work 😄 Does you company let you fully use Kotlin?
a
@Can Orhan not yet. I’m learning myself right now. So next project I can use Kotlin to develop.
c
Hmm. It really depends on your situation. All of this is just my opinion: I think that if you're in a team that's not ready to adopt Kotlin, and on top of that, you're not confident enough to help other people in your team with it, then maybe focusing on what your team can use could be better. That way - you can get support while learning fundamentals and continue helping people in your team. I'd love to hear what other people think.

@Can Orhan but if no one takes the lead. Then we will always stay at the same place. I need to make the change first.
c
It might be more dangerous to take the lead unprepared.

@Can Orhan in your opinion, if I want to use Kotlin for my company project, what should I prepare? Should I keep trying to develop my application using Kotlin?
