xantier: I disagree, his focus on Android + Kotlin limits what he needs to learn.  It is such a specific ecosystem it is a good place to start.

I agree that by narrowing the focus it is possible to stay on pure Kotlin but in reality there is a need to be able to converse in Java at this point still. Even on Android the ecosystem (libraries, examples etc.) is not fully covered by Kotlin at the moment
