Same here. I think it began appearing after updating IntelliJ to 2021.2 (I haven't rolled back to verify, though)

just keep clicking Gradle's reload button; with each reload a new "TeamsApplicationKt (next number)" appears. I don't change anything between subsequent refreshes

This is going to be fixed in 212.5080 release (2021.2.1) that is being built atm 🙂
