hi there. I will be speaking about Glance this week at droidcon London and I was wondering why it is still in alpha. <@U031981JNPK>, could you share a brief roadmap of glance development? I would like to add that to my slides. I am using it on production for 5-6m now without an issue. Basic usage I guess, but widget should be quite basic anyway :slightly_smiling_face:

Looking forward for your talk! Unfortunately I am not able to share roadmap ATM. There are few technical challenges that the team wants to make sure to nail down before moving into beta, since after that would restrict API changes and reduce flexibility.

That being said, a reminder that Glance is part of androidx and it’s build in the open. Thus you can always check the ongoing commits to check what’s coming up
