I stumbled upon Fuel this morning, didn't really like the "callbacky" syntax. But the project seems alive...
I did not want to lose some time trying to make Ktor's client work outside of a server usecase but if you say it is usable, I think I'll go this way

the callback syntax is option.. it can also just return a Triple
that you assign and destructure
