unable to start IntelliJ after upgrading to 2021.2:

this affects multiple members on our team

upgraded using the upgrade dialogue in IntelliJ… during the installation it shows a problem/resolution dialogue (a list of items showing delete as resolution)

downloading the DMG from the jetbrains site, installing/replacing fixes it
