anyone facing issues with 2020.1.1 where upon switching git branches, intellij doesn't seem to figure out on it's own that some files need to be recompiled

cases where function parameter types are different or there are data class changes; I seem to have to go to the said file, and manually hit "compile" for it to start working

all the time. automatic file system refresh doesn't seem to work in 2020.

also, selecting multiple files in the project window no longer works.

To select multiple files in Project window, hold ctrl/command and double-click. Not sure why the change, or if it's a bug, but that does work.
