Hey all, Not a question, but a shameless plug (for a good cause!) The Kotlin Dev Day conference will take place in Amsterdam on May 19th. In the Johan Cruijff ArenA (Ajax football stadium) we will host 3 stages full of Kotlin, with both server-side and Android/mobile talks. Some highlights in terms of speakers: Hadi Hariri, James Ward, Andrey Breslav (not announced yet), Anton Arhipov, Marcin Moskala, Urs Peter, Liliia Abdulina. Find the full program and speakers here: https://kotlindevday.com It's a not-for-profit conference, which means that all profits will be donated to something that the community chooses. Voting will be done at the event 🙂 And yes, there are sponsors that cover some of the costs. Hopefully all the costs, so there is more money for charity, sustainability, diversity, supporting open-source initiatives, etc. We're very excited and we hope to bring the European Kotlin community together! Enjoy your weekend! 💰 Please be advised that early bird tickets are available until the end of the month. So next Tuesday 🙂

I don't suppose there's a lower price for students? :|

I'm sorry to inform you that we haven't thought about that. I must say that I haven't seen that yet. Is it something common for tech events?

I can't comment since I'm yet to attend a conference like this. I'm only saying this from a budget point of view. I'm sure it'll be an amazing event.

I went to a couple events with student discounts previously (I'm pretty sure KotlinConf used to have one for students and academics, for example). I think it's a great thing to have.

Fully agree on that @zsmb. I'll have a look into this on how we can integrate this in the ticketing system.

@Advitiay Anand Your wishes have been granted. We now have 50% discount for students! To be transparant, this covers the costs of catering 🙂 Accessible through this link: www.eventbrite.com/e/216358733797/?discount=Stud3kg8sc
