i didnt understand Not-Kotlin flag please explain ?

this channel is *only* for questions about Android that are related to Kotlin, you shouldn’t ask plain Android questions like “how to implement paging library”, this is just example.
problem you have should be Kotlin related and on Android as a platform

The reason is that this slack is sponsored/paid for by jetbrains. Jetbrains develops Kotlin, so they sponsor this slack to discuss Kotlin. They do not develop android.

There are many Kotlin topics/questions/approaches/bugs which are Android specific,
Even if it would be 10-20 times less messages which follor the topic, it’s still big enough topic to have a channel about it.

I still dont understand because my question is about android (Which is topic of channel) and related to kotlin language. Is Kotlin alone is something worthy ? Unless its used on some platform like android, ios, web etc

Yes, Android is topic of this channel, but topic of whole Slack is Kotlin. So questions/discussion should be related on Kotlin and on Android, both are required

Your question is related on RecyclerView and ViewBindings, so it’s not specific to Kotlin, nothing in question or answer would be Kotlin specific
