This looks like a bug, but synthetics have been deprecated for a while, and you should migrate away from using them.

I think sadly it probably is the end finally :smiling_face_with_tear: unless you are planning to not use Compose in that project

Do we think this could possibly be fixed in a Kotlin 1.6 patch?

Looks like they're gonna fix it in 1.6.20
