has anyone ever encountered this within Android Studio?

the tooltip that shows up for Show Occurrences on a method, gets stuck on the screen like that after the tooltip appears

same for File Switcher, upon switching with `ctrl + Tab` gets stuck on the screen, a huge blank box just gets stuck there and needs an IDE restart

seems there’s a bug about it <https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/215652696>

Yep got that once ..and did the same solution .. just restart :slightly_smiling_face:
