Is it possible to use an api to gather this information? Or send mail using api?

Maybe easier to maintain. Easier to update the strings for example.

(sry I know this is not a real answer just curious)

We are using SendGrid to send emails, but we have to manage somewhere the texts of email templates where managers, translators and developers can access it. Currently this is a spreadsheet, but it’s hard to fight with html tags and spreadsheets don’t provide API to easily integrate into build process.
